Understand your cycle: How Proov Predict and Confirm help you find and confirm ovulation
The image shows changes in the hormone levels of LH (luteinizing hormone) and PG (progesterone) in an average menstrual cycle.
Proov Predict (ovulation test) measures the surge in LH – which you can see peaks just before ovulation. This test helps you find the most fertile time in your cycle, when the chance of fertilization is highest.
Proov Confirm (PdG test) is used after ovulation and measures progesterone (PG) in the form of PdG in the urine. As shown in the graph, progesterone levels rise after ovulation and remain high if the body produces sufficient progesterone in the luteal phase – important for a healthy pregnancy.
